She Contains Multitudes March 29 through May 14, 2021 Ringel Gallery, Stewart Center From the allegorical and narrative works of Angelica Kauffman and Kara Walker to the vibrant photographic portraits of Jenny Morgan and Aida Muluneh, She Contains Multitudes presents a multiplicity of artistic styles and media created by the women artists of the Purdue Galleries’ Permanent Collection. This exhibition showcases the work of local and international female artists whose enigmatic works express universal themes and personal experiences from the eighteenth century to the present day. This exhibition will be posted online, with a virtual talk by guest curator Allie Brandt on Thursday, April 15, at 5:30PM.
