Religious Studies Program Spring Lecture Series

“Unsettling Translations: Postsecular and Decolonial Contributions Toward an Indigenous Phenomenology” The speaker is Sol Neely who is an Associate Professor of English and Philosophy at the University of Alaska Southeast. Professor Neely is also a citizen of the Cherokee Nation, and founder of the “Flying University,” an educational program that he organized inside of the Lemon Creek Correctional Center in Juneau, Alaska, in which inmates study literature and philosophy.
