Tommy Orange, New York Times bestselling author, was born and raised in Oakland, California. He is an enrolled member of the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes of Oklahoma. His first novel, There There, published by Alfred A. Knopf in June 2018, was a New York Times Bestseller.

This free and public event is sponsored by the Purdue English Department, College of Liberal Arts, and NAECC.
