Creative Muses: Art + Fashion Exhibition: January 13 -
February 15 Reception: Thursday, January 23 @ 5:30PM Ringel Gallery,
Stewart Center Throughout history, art and fashion have been
intertwined. Both influenced by each other, politics, social
change, and new discoveries. Featuring pieces from the Purdue Theatre
Department Special Collection of Historic Dress and Purdue Galleries’s
permanent collection, this exhibition explores the deep relationship
between the two and asks the visitor to question
“what is art?”. Join us for a curator’s talk and reception in Ringel
Gallery at 5:30PM on Thursday, January 23. Ringel Gallery is located in
Stewart Center, 128 Memorial Mall, West Lafayette, and is open 10 a.m.
to 7 p.m., Monday through Saturday. All Purdue
Galleries exhibits and events are free and open to the public. For
