NAECC and Honors College Visiting Scholars Program featuring Ishmael Hope
Sunday, March 31 through Saturday, April 6

Alaska Native Storyteller and Poet Ishmael Hope will share traditional stories from his Tlingit and Inupiaq heritage focused on respect for Mother Earth and Elders and he will share some of his poetry from his recent books and developing work. This interactive presentation will provide the opportunity for students to gain deeper insight into Indigenous traditions and connection to communities.
